The Inside Story
1. One of the largest rectangular hotplates available. It accommodates up to 8 saucepans, similar to professional chef’s hotplates, the temperature varies across its length, from simmering at one end to rapid boiling at the other, and is ideal for toasting bread or even making delicious pancakes. Two distinctive highly polished insulated lids retain heat and maintain operational temperature. By using both the main oven, lower oven and extra large hotplate in combination the Rayburn XT provides the ideal levels of heat required for every kind of cooking.
2. Manufactured from cast iron the main oven is self cleaning and generously deep, accommodating a large number of saucepans, perfect for roasting, baking and slow cooking. Different heat zones allow you to cook at different temperatures at the same time, while oven venting ensures strong flavour's are not transferred between dishes. A meat tin, grill rack and plain shelf are all supplied.
3. With the Rayburn XT, even creating the traditional great British breakfast takes on a new style. With the top of the main oven designed for easy grilling, fat splashes are carbonized and cooking odours are vented outside.
4. Around two thirds the size of the main oven and operating at half its temperature, the lower oven is ideal for warming, slow cooking, steaming and even resting a joint before carving.
5. A range cooker for the modern age, the Rayburn XT can be fuelled either by natural gas, LPG or kerosene oil and utilizes a power flue which means you can position it almost anywhere as no chimney is required.
